Who leads and organizes Splash Camp?

Splash Camp 2025 is made possible by local churches who collaborate together.

San Felipe Baptist Association (SFBA) serves a key role as the central hub and covering organization for churches by securing deposits, collecting church registrations, giving oversight, and more to offer a sustainable camp bigger than any one church.

SFBA has a mission that includes equipping churches for ministry. Splash Camp extends this mission by creating a camp where a church of any size can offer this experience through their own ministry.

Churches leading the way are comprised of SFBA churches and non-SFBA churches. Questions are welcome if more is needed. Take a peek at the leaders who make up the two key teams this year on our ABOUT PAGE.

Where is Splash Camp located?

Splash Camp 2025 takes place at Forest Glen Encampment in Huntsville, TX.

Forest Glen has a longstanding reputation of hosting groups of every age and size. Learn more about our great lodging, activities and facilities by clicking LOCATION.

What are the requirements for adults who attend?

Each attending church agrees to bring a one adult to eight kids ratio. Every church is required to submit background checks for each volunteer and staff member attending. As well, Forest Glen requires a standard Abuse Training certification to be completed.

Adults who attend camp are vital to a great experience. The adults attending from your church will be placed into needed roles as counselors, family group leaders, and overnight accommodations with kids. Ensure the adults you select to attend are excited to participate in camp, not chaperone from the back.

Adults from your church will be asked to counsel spiritual decisions, assist in supervision at all times, and provide redirection or manage discipline issues, if required.

Each church should consider including their own organizational release form.

At camp check-in, forms are turned in and any medications are given in one tub containing individual bags with prescription info. The nurse will secure these and oversee distribution while at camp.

Will medical assistance be available if required?

Splash Camp has a nurse in attendance over the entire event. This professional oversees medications and stands ready with expertise in basic needs like first aid, CPR, and more while at camp. As well, the city of Huntsville is nearby should further medical care be needed.
